Dental Microscope

Dental MicroscopeOur clinic has A Carl Zeiss OPMI PICO Microscope  used in endodontics (for finding all root canals), surgery, periodontics, prosthetics and other precision demanding procedures. Using microscopes we are able to save teeth, which had to be extracted in the past. Also we can increase fastness and effectiveness of treatment.

Sterilisation

SterilisationThanks to used devices and introduced solutions our clinic fulfils, or even exceeds, the sanitary standards.

Taking care of our patients we use a lot of disposable and utilized after use tools and materials.

Before every usage, multiple use tools must be disinfected, cleaned and sterilized.

All tools are packed in special wrapper, sterilized by means of modern Melag autoclave.

The autoclave is the device necessary in dental practice. It assures sterility of tools and materials.

During every procedure we use disposable latex gloves. Sometimes we change it a few times during one treatment.

During surgical procedures we use disposable clothing and surgical scarfs. We have efficient ventilation in our surgery in order to detoxify the air.

DIGORA® Optime

DIGORA OptimeClinical image quality is a result of the whole DIGORA® Optime concept. The DIGORA® Optime System uses highly sensitive and intelligent Imaging Plate readout technology to achieve high quality images with an exceptionally wide dynamic range. The result is that even small details like 0.06mm root canal files are visible.

In digital imaging, a optimal signal-to-noise ratio is important to create images of the highest quality, too much noise results in a loss of diagnostic information. The DIGORA® Optime System is designed with a short light path from the imaging plate to the photomultiplier, which means that a low dose can be used while keeping the noise level low.
  • Imaging plates are as easy to position in the patient’s mouth as film
  • The readout process is completely automatic
  • Readout time is very short

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral CameraUsing mouth mirror it is difficult to check up a status of dentition precisely. In this situation intraoral camera is very helpful, both in diagnostics and, for example, in complicated root canal treatment. Also we can use it instead of X-ray apparatus. It is one of the best way of carietic defects detection, particularly defects on tangent surfaces (between teeth). A dentist places a thin tube with camera at the apex in patient’s mouth. The tube is connected with computer, so we obtain enlargement of teeth and gums on the monitor screen. A patient can observe the dentist’s work on the screen.

Eye Mag Pro Loupes

Eye Mag Pro LoupesOptimal Treatment requires optimal visualisation At praxis we use eye mag pro loupes from carl zeiss from magnification which facilitate differentiation of ultrafine structures the result is increased efficiency and elevated level of care.

Piezotome

PiezotomeThe New innovation in Bone Surgery. The Piezotome is an exciting modality that enables us to incise bone without disturbing soft tissue. The device generate ultrasonic vibrations which cut bone without harming soft tissues, such as nerves, sinus membranes, and gum tissue. This pioneering device is powerful, precise and silent. The device is designed for delicate bone procedures such as: Sinus lift, ridge expansion and ridge augmentation, bone harvesting, Osteotomy and Osteoplasty, and all periodontic, endodontic, and orthodontic procedures. The Piezotome is simply a better way to perform bone surgery. It is the answer to the difficulties encountered with traditional instruments because of the following facts:
  • Very thin, precise and effortless incisions
  • Soft tissue preservation
  • Acute tactile sense (low vibrations)
  • Limited risk of membrane perforation
  • Perfect visibility of operative field
  • Haemostatic effect
  • Less postoperative pain
  • Rapid healing
With the Piezotome, we can now precisely cut bone during augmentation procedures enhancing the final results and expanding deficient areas of bone to accommodate implant placement.

X-Mind® DC

X-Mind DCEach of our operatories is fitted with the new X-mind DC X-ray Machines. The new X-Mind DC generator is fitted with a Toshiba DG-073B-DC double anode tungsten tube. It operates at high frequencies and constant potential which enables very high quality radiation to be emitted, whatever the conditions of use. The choice of voltage (60 or 70kV) and intensity (4 or 8mA) enables optimal diagnosis of intraoral X-rays with a 35% reduction in exposure time, compared with monophased units. The extremely short exposure times (minimum 0.02 sec.) are suitable for digital radiology with CCD, CMOS or phosphor plate sensor and the radiation is 50% less that that used with the regularly used "E" type films.
